Saw this out and about today... Pen for scale.

a sacral pelvic gurdle of a bird well done Hairyman, i reckon mozzie nailed species, bravo mozzie.

Correct Mozzie!

Doc and I were out today trying to help a lady who owns an emu farm. I'd never seen an emu pelvis before, so thought it might provide some puzzlement.

I'll have to get pics of something really obscure next time.

Interestingly the owner said there had been two sitings of a large feline on her property, large and black.

Great so I was right......excellent

have to confess, I'm a bit of a bird tragic, seen this sort of bone before, had to wrack my brain and nearly said ostrich at first, then thought no most likely Emu
