You know when you’ve just had enough and need to get a quick night outside in the “real “ world , I had one Thursday , so I packed up me old hilux and went on a trip , I was going to string up the hammock but decided last minute to head up near cradle mountain where the Lea runs into lake gairdner , by then it was not far off dark and no trees so I did the Ute tray camp next to the rapids for a nice quiet evening alone , may not be much bushcraft involved as such but was an enjoyable spontaneous trip AC1DCC23-5E2E-44A3-BE3E-B6FA8DB97E43.jpeg3C61D15D-FAF2-4878-A0FA-9DCCE7A00B0D.jpeg751BAADE-532F-4EFB-B0AB-325ACBBD1355.jpegE3813747-E213-4173-9E2E-3227A83599A7.jpegC4783073-93F0-42D1-9F0D-B029E15172B4.jpeg

I love those simple spontaneous trips. Try to do them as often as I can. Thanks for the pics. I felt a strong urge to flick a dry fly out onto that lake. :)
