Distribution: South East Queensland, Coastal NSW, Victoria and South Australia. An isolated population occurs in North Queensland.
Habitat: Mountain and Coastal Forests.
Field Notes: Juveniles have predominantly green plumage. Medium-sized parrot. Eats fruit and seeds. Also nectar feeder. Broad diet. This species now includes the Yellow rosella and the Adelaide rosella, which are considered colour variants of the Crimson rosella.
