Was thinking about the North ledge south ledge walk on Sunday 10th March up at Mundaring. It's a good little jaunt.
Anyone interested?
Happy to alter walk if folk have other ideas.

Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps ...
I'm interested, but I will keep an eye on the weather. I don't like the heat very much.

Agreed. I've done it about three times and usually start 6ish, so it's all over by 10 at the latest. I'm happy to adjust timings to suit.

We could also consider the Echidna walk at Walyunga, but not sure of gate opening times and a later start might mean it's too hot.

I think Walyuna NP doesn't open until 8am.
But we could park outside the gate, and use the Aborginal Heritage Trail to the main area.
Or, go cross-country to pick up the old Echidna route.

This a done deal and all agreed then?
Still 6AM?

Where's the meeting spot - aren't there multiple carparks dotted round the place...?

Don't forget the electrolytes!!

If we're doing Mundaring Weir, I'd recommend the carpark across the road from the pub, behind the craft shop, enter off Hall Rd.
@Thrud, where we at?

Are we all good to go?
Who's coming?

Is there a defined route, @Thrud, or are we just going to follow you?

Driving 800k for a 3 hr walk would put you instantly into the Bushcraft hall of fame(although I think you are already in that) you will be there in spirit.

Still 0600 head to the Mundaring weir hotel and turn left into the car park opposite the hotel.
All welcome! Don’t be put off by all the banter we would all enjoy some new recruits.

I was going to use a map I used from Walks GPS
13.5 field kms, thought we could go North to South, but I am very happy to alter/add to this route. I know Redtail has good maps and may know variations of walk.

I'm not fussed. I just like to play along, and it gives me a chance to test my GPS which I think has been playing up lately.
I am familiar with most of the way, but I've never done the whole WalkGPS route.
