up to 2cm in diameter, Long cylinder shape. Smooth and pliable when fresh and sometimes covered with mucus. when dry small insect parts visable. The scat contains fragments of ants , beetles, larve , worms and soil. the colour depends on the the colour of the soils which it has been feeding.
It has a strong earthy odur when fresh, little to no odur when dried. Scat usually found on rock piles or in the area which it has been feeding.

Good find wasn't it auscraft. Signs of a very healthy echidna. Scat found on route to huge ants nest loaded thick with ant remains.

A slightly rain washed scat, conisting almost entirely of ant exoskeletons.
