Thanks for mentioning this because I think we tracked it down because of this.
Just letting everyone know that I have contacted and spoken to the server guys about what I thought might have been the issue (thanks to Aussie123) and if it hasn't fixed the issue it is due to reoccur anytime now so I'm keeping an eye on the forum every hour or so over the next few days (during waking hours) so there will be limited downtime but fingers crossed we got it.
