I was given a bag of grapefruit to make marmalade from. I picked them up from the inlaws and while there, they shared their recipe:
"Citrus Recipes for every day 1948 Edition"

But I already had my own recipe, so I stuck with that:
Wash and weigh the grapefruit:

Zest it:

Juice the fruits:

Scoop out the remaining pulp and add all the pips and pulp to a muslin bag.
You don't need to get it all, infact about half is enough (but add all the seeds because they contain pectin)

Put the juice and zest in a pot, and add the bag of pulp and seeds.
Boil for approx 30 minutes.

Then add half the weight of sugar. ie if you weighed 2 kg of grapefruit, add 1kg of sugar

Boil for 1 hour and test for set. You can add a commercial "jam setter" (pectin) if you need to.
Once its ready, bottle :
