That's awesome. I'd been following something similar on youtube - Wranglerstar. Not quite as remote as that one but was great to follow until he decided to buy a house instead.

I still learned a lot from it and now have a chainsaw mill of my own :)

Artisans of Australia: Timbercraft

Made by Film Australia 1984. Directed by Paul Humfress. A detailed look at the restoration of the Coolamine Homestead in the Kosciuszko National Park. The building, constructed in 1883, is a very good example of a drop slab alpine ash timber hut. The process of restoration is explained in detail, including choosing the right tree, using the tools and what were once standard bush skills. The program features axemen Bill Boyd and Mark Garner who, like their families before them, have worked in the bush all their lives.

Andy's fishing. I stumbled on this guys vids in north Queensland, he's done some wandering through the jungle vids and eating what they find on the trips , including plants , yabbies etc etc.

It's pretty entertaining stuff if anyone is interested. Recommend.

Not exactly bushcraft related, however this is pretty interesting. His previously posted videos filmed across Australia are amazing. Worth a look if you're not subscribed to him.
