The heavy rain over the past few days (normal monsoon in Far North Queensland) has flushed out a few snakes including this Keelback, run over out side my house almost in front of me. It's the keelback3.jpgkeelback2.jpgkeelback.jpgbright yellow coloured variant normally attributed to Cape Tribulation but obviously from Mossman too

Thanks for posting Papillon, unfortunately this is the only way we get to see some of our more reclusive wildlife.
The numbers of animals killed on Aussie roads each day must be in the thousands.
