I first tied a 5 Lead, 3 Bight TH
To make the split ring loop I pulled a second cord pulled through middle. I then the 4 ends in a locked footrope/diamond knot.

I'm working on a little paracord rock sling. I weaved the pouch separate so I could experiment with different arm lengths, but it left a lot of messy untidy ends.

The tutorials I watched on youtube make the whole sling out of one piece of cord, but they also use a large needle to guide strands through at the end. They look very neat but I still prefer the idea of a separate pouch, think I'll scratch my head on it for a while :)

Really tricky to use though, people make it look very easy but it's tricky.

I had a go with the one piece for a tennis ball, had to re-jig a couple of times.
Nifty idea having a separate pouch!
