Another of Doug's Bows ..
This one is a little different ..
Back , way back in time .. In a land of milk and honey ( USA ) ...
You could buy BOW BLANKS .. ( Unfinished Bows ) ..
And you could specify the level of finish or unfinished that you wanted .
Yeah , I was kind of envious of Americans for all their milk and honey !
So one day ( for some reason ) I was at Doug's , and I spied a blank .
I asked Doug about it , and he said it was made for a customer but turned out too heavy for what they wanted ( Draw weight ) .
I was like = PERFECT !!!! ill take it and finish it .
Doug was like , oh no ! it's too heavy !
So I asked him , how heavy ..
From mem it's low 60LBS @ 28 and stacks relatively softly . ( If I remember )
I said , that's not heavy ! ill take it ! & I did ..
Brought it home and carved away the things I did not want .. And a BOW was born !
There be no markings or anything on this bow , because I did the finish work .
From mem the sight window was already cut and the limbs partially tillered .. The rest was me .
