The Trapper is a rather a rare pack in Australia and is the oldest pack I have ever owned..The design makes a lot of sense for the materials that they had at the time.The KL35 looks like a good well made basic pack and reminds me a bit of the US Alice pack.

mitchelles camping has swedish m39 packs with steel frame for for 49$ theyer fine packs but you must use them with a heavy belt has they have harness
