Where to get Adze?

Hey all.

Anyone have any experience with Adze's? I'm looking for a smaller one for bowls and other smaller jobs. No canoe's yet

I use an adze a fair amount of the time. not sure if westerners use small adze like you want, More primitive type of tool. I may be wrong and not certain if they make them today because of popularlty. Adze is usally used to remove bulk materials quick and and work like a chisel .
Adze as I mentioned are no longer being made tool of yester year but you can get them secondhand shops and antique shops. May suggest if you can why not make one yourself even if it means converting another tool a small hand mattock or hoe (small garden tool)

I sometimes seen them the at outdoor markets,at the stall with old tools...But not often..!

I made one years ago buy cutting down a cheap axe and then welding a leaf spring to it and sharping it up worked realy well
